"This is a lovely style dress and fit reasonably well. My one disappointment is that the print pattern on the dress did not match up with the online photos. The on-line photos showed the navy print pattern against a pure white / cream background. The actual fabric pattern has light navy lines on top of the white background, so it blurs the overall pattern. I still like the dress, but can't give it a "5" rating - sorry!"
"I looooove the fabric and it would be beautiful on a taller person. On 5'3" me, the torso is very long, so the waist wants to hit much too low. If I lift the shoulders up a full inch plus, I can see that it would be so beautiful if it fit, but that's an expensive alteration, so it is going back. I wish it came in petite."

With arms at sides, place tape measure under your arms and run it around the fullest part of the bust line and across the shoulder blades.
Find the natural crease of your waist by bending to one side. Run tape measure around your natural waistline, keeping one finger between the tape and your body for a comfortable fit.
With feet together, run tape measure around the fullest part of your hips/seat, about 7 to 8 inches below your waistline.
For full-length pants, run tape measure along the inside of your leg, from just below the crotch to 1 inch below the ankle.
